The clients wanted to replace an existing conservatory, opening up internal walls to provide a new family focused kitchen, & dining space. A steep garden limited the available buildable area however careful positioning of the key spaces resulted in a design providing a generous kitchen and dining area while maintaining direct access to the garden.
An exposed timber roof structure and high level windows would create a feature kitchen with a modern 'wow' factor that the clients were looking for, all within the existing footprint of the current home.
